I had the opportunity to play the last day of my veterinary conference and really wanted to see mountain goats. I never got close enough at Glacier so I decided to try Mount Evans. Difficult climb those last few feet to over 14,000 feet but worth the view. Beautiful flowers, views and lots of wildlife. I had the opportunity to visit the Denver Botanical Gardens featuring the Chihuly exhibit. He is world renowned for his blown glass. The gardens were amazing as was the glass. Here is a link to my photos.

So a while ago I broke one of my mother's beautiful lead crystal bowls. It was a very large and thick piece. I decided to scrap the glass, crushed it and designed some bowls. I applied mica and slumped them. I then added some freeze and fuse shells and branches and made some frit eggs using CMC as a binder.
